Almost every culture has a set of "buzz words" that are used to keep people in line and condemn those who disagree with the "prevailing wisdom".
For example in China they use the word "harmony" for that purpose, and the dissenting voices are thus condemned as elements of disharmony.
"Harmony" means status quo, and that's of course very useful for the powers that be.
A person who thinks for himself will almost inevitably come to see that disharmony is actually a lot more interesting and significant than harmony.
Harmony, when made into a kind of "goal", will turn into "dead harmony" aka stagnation.
Disharmony leads to movement and change, and "change" is one of the very basic principles of life (even according to the I Ching).
Some people think that harmony is equal to peace.
It is not.
Peace consists of embracing both harmony and disharmony, whatever is the case in a given moment.
Both summer and winter have their uses.
