Here is a new tv show on the sci-fy channel called "Fact or faked, paranormal files". It uses scientific tests to see if paranormal claims from people are real or not. Here is the first seasons show that tests paranormal claims of a haunted house in Alton, Illinois. It also tests the claims of a ufo sighting in Freemont California.
