and she will think you wonderful ,caring and considerate ** but i think we had better let the ladies advise on this one

If you want a grand finale gift to spring last, or a single show stopper, I'd suggest a good crystal geode. Just google the term and include "price" in the search criteria and you will find plenty of places to order online, with pictures and cost for individual specimens. The ones that make the best impression are those that show actual columnar crystals, while those that look like mineral fleece inside are bottom of the list for impressiveness. A good array of facets showing in the interior but lacking columnars is middle of the road.
